I am the Phoenix arising. See the pretty plumage?
I have made getting healthier a priority for the past few years. I have already lost a lot of weight (150 pounds) but a knee injury last year has left me with barely enough oomph to walk. Since cleaning up my vegan diet, I now have energy again and breaking up my exercise into 10 min sessions does the trick for me. I love my SparkPeople! My goals . 1. My Goals:
My goal is to live healthy and live life to the fullest. OK...now for the "real" goals. 1. I want to be able to fit into am airline coach seat without asking for a seatbelt extender and without the arms from the seat jabbing into my hips. 2. I want to be able to walk without pain. 3. I want to be able to go upstairs without stopping to catch my breath. 4. Oh yeah....the looking good naked thing. I'm down for that one too!
My Program:
I eat foods that are gluten, dairy and egg free due to allergies and Celiac disease. I am also Vegan.
Personal Information:
I am from Northern New England. I love watching old cartoons with my honey...especially Charlie Brown and Fractured Fairy Tales. I am also somewhat addicted to World of Warcraft. For the Alliance!!!
