My Goals:
-eat within my calories
-lose 5% by early September
- walk 28.3 miles in the Ultimate Hike this October
- run a 5k in the Spring
- run a 10k
- run a half marathon and get a medal!!!

My Program:
I am working mostly on my diet. I have been eating poorly and impulsively to sabotage my progress. I can't believe it has come to this, eating bad things because I had a bad day and therefore making it worse.

It's my goal to run the way my 4-year-old runs: wildly, while laughing!!!

I've also been doing yoga, trail hiking, riding my bike, and going for family walks.

Personal Information:
I am a mom interested in photography, gardening, kayaking, hiking, and camping. I want to be an active role model for my son and to feel more confident about myself.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.
fitbit is supposed to measure sleep by how much you do or do not move during the night. I'm still experimenting. Set it from normal to sensitive just now and will compare that for a few days.
As for calorie burn, I'm not sure I'm the one to ask as I don't really track properly on SP (I only really track fitness minutes) and have nothing to compare the fitbit "findings" with.
It is a nice little gadget though. I'm blown away by the fact that during a regular day, without additional effort, I only log between 3000 and 5000 steps.
