Loving life at the coast!

I'm a newlywed, middle school teacher, (former) competitive swimmer, just-for-fun frisbee player, and generally optimistic, happy person!

I've dropped off the SP bandwagon a few times, but I'd like to stick with it without spending hours a day on the computer tracking. Fingers crossed for try #3

My Goals:
My next few goals:
: to finally break into the 160's - something I haven't seen since I graduated from college
: to eat around 1300 calories a day, following the SP plan
: to get stronger.

Long term goals:
: to weigh under 150 pounds for the first time in my 20's
: to enjoy running/jogging
: to do a mini triathlon (which involves riding a real bike instead of a beach cruiser...)

My Program:
Exercise -
- 30 minutes of cardio 5 days per week.
- 3 strength training sessions per week.
- Workout with a buddy whenever possible!

Food -
- Eat lots of fruits and veggies!
- Try to avoid buying large quantities of "temptation" food (and replace it with yummy fresh foods!)

Personal Information:
I'm a teacher in NC. I love swimming, Spanish, and my friends and family.

I got to run my first race -- a 1/2! -- last winter, and will entertain the idea of repeating it someday :)
