I have always had a problem losing weight, mostly because I'm quite lazy and I don't like diets. The one diet that worked for me was the Atkins diet, and at the time I was very active in Colorguard (dance for those who don't know). I weighed 130 right before I gave up on Atkins because I couldn't eat with everyone else. At that time I also moved, thus losing colorguard.

I'm sad to say that I looked at a scale and I'm past where I started before Atkins at 262.4 lbs. Seeing that was depressing, but also made me motivated to get this weight off. I want to lose at least 100 pounds by my 25th birthday. There might be another occasion coming up where I will need to lose the weight, but I'll update for that later.

I have some health issues that I've been dealing with since I gained all the weight back the first time. Mainly I get sick after eating food. It isn't the same culprits all the time, but it is really bad when I eat out a lot. I'd like to figure out what's causing it so I can get rid of this problem.

1) Lose 100 lbs by my 25th birthday December 29, 2014
2) Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.
3) Eat fewer processed foods.
4) Eat more vegetables and fruit that are in season
5) Do well in my classes
6) Find internal peace and my path.

I'm never in Summit, regrettably. I'm not on the meal plan anymore and its on the other end of campus from me. Not a bad deal considering you get meals, but I've been told Summit is a bit stricter on their employees than the other dining halls were. I worked at OHouse for a while, then switched over to retail and worked at the Bulldog Cafe and Tate 2.

I'd love to be sparkbuddies though, its definitely the incentive I need to get back in motion since I sort of fell off too. How's hopping back on going?

Hey!

I was just sort of poking around in the Athens Sparkers forum and I found your introduction thread. Seems like we have a good bit in common. I go to UGA and I'm majoring in English and linguistics. I'm a fellow geek. I tend to stick mostly to books and music, but I've done my fair share of video games, tabletop games,etc.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hi. I'm really looking for people in the same area in around the same fitness level as workout buddies and someone geographically close to help me be accountable. Making new friends never hurts.

P.S. - I promise I'm not a total creeper, but I love the work on your deviant art page!
