My Goals:
To feel better, move better, sleep better, eat better, basically everything better...or rather more healthy! Yes I need to lose weight but to me it is just a small part of my road to becoming healthier.

My Program:
I use the Fit, Firm, & Fired Up SparkPeople DVD 5 or more times a week. I like to go for walks when the weather is good. I use the wii fit for aerobics and to improve my balance. I am looking to step my exercise program up a notch soon and try some new things.

Thanks for your comment on my blog about tinkering with my caloric recommendations. I'm tempted to do so, but have not yet because I do not want to permanently override the Spark recommendations. I realize those recommendations will change as I lose weight. I do not want the Spark algorithm to hiss, sigh, giggle ("Oh, this is the turkey from Maryland who sets his own. Ha!") and skip providing me those recommendations. So, I hesitate.

Western Maine, huh? I spent the most amazing nine summers of my teenage years on the ocean, near Popham Beach, down the road from Bath. Windjammer Days in Boothbay, rainy days at LL Bean, listening to "Y-106" when it was the "voice of northeastern New England" etc. Small world...

Thanks for stopping by and reading my blog. I do find blogging so freeing I guess. Once I get it all out and see there is something to change, it puts things in perspective and I get fired up about a challenge!
