Once and for all...this time is different.

Hi I'm Eliza and have been on this roller coaster my entire life. The first pictures that showed weight gain were back in 2nd grade. After that I was up and down constantly. When I lose weight it is dramatic and then I just gain it all back because I lost it unrealistically. I have read a lot of books and articles on health and diet and feel that I know a whole lot about food and exercise. For some reason I just can't figure out how to make it lifelong and build habits that I can manage. ...

When I lose weight it is dramatic and then I just gain it all back because I lost it unrealistically. I have read a lot of books and articles on health and diet and feel that I know a whole lot about food and exercise. For some reason I just can't figure out how to make it lifelong and build habits that I can manage. I'm determined to make 2012 my best year ever and the year when I'll truly reach my goals.

I have a 5 year old and am currently pursuing a Master's in education at UT while working as a Kindergarten teacher. I've also recently gone through a breakup after 8 years. My life is crazy!!! Would love to meet new and inspiring people on Sparkpeople so please "friend" me:-).

Mini goals-be active daily no matter how big or smal

Walk 30 minutes everyday

My Program:
Right now I have no program except that I want to be active at least 5 days a week and change up my routine so that I don't get bored.

Eat in moderation.

Lots of fruits, veggies, lean meats, lowfat dairy.

Personal Information:
I'm 29 years old and live in Austin TX with my 5 year old son. I teach Bilingual Kindergarten in AISD and am pursuing a Master's at The University of Texas at Austin.

I was just planning what to eat everyday. A fellow sparkie has her own website and has this challenge shes doing and one of our things to do was write our weekly meals. she's at gracegothealthy.com if you want to check it out. Maybe my meal planning will help me better with my food consumption since I'm so horrible with food :P

it's pinterest.com ...it has like a whole bunch of different things on there...not just fitness. They weren't videos. It was just a picture and it had the days of the week written up top and then the different fitness stuff to do. I can send em to you if you want.
