Eating to Live - Life in Progress

Phase 2

Learning how to be me.

So far my journey has taken me from severly obease to just obease. Cancer scare, suicide scare, hysterectomy, hormonal changes maintaining weight loss to depression that caused a 30 pound gain.

Now with hormones starting to balance I am back to where I need to be. Learning how to be me. Back on my loss program and feeling a bit lost.

Living Life

Being Healthy

My Program:
nature's design

this is not a diet plan, but a permenant way of life.

This way of life allows the body to heal from the damage done by toxins in the foods that we ingest.

It is amazing what foods are not in nature's design for human consumption.

emoticon . Hope you had a great weekend.

Motivational Message:

The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn.-- Alvin Toffler

How willing are you to learn something new? How open are you to new perspectives?

Only when we're open can we really hear what's being said or really see what's happening or really experience the moment.

Openness demands that we be willing to move to places we've never been before. It asks us to continually challenge the foundations of our belief systems so we can test out new ideas. And to do that, we need to accept insecurity.

Make this week all about committing to the changes you want to see and learning new things.

Have a great week

Motivational Message:

Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there. ….James Allen

Too many times people attempt to live their lives backwards: they try to have more material things or money, in order to do more of what they want so they will be happier. The way it actually works is the
reverse. You must first BE who you really are, then DO what you love to do, in order to HAVE what you want.

The formula for success is first Be, then Do, then Have. If our material abundance reflects the quality of our BEING, then how much do we focus on what we are actually DOING? As with everything in life, it’s a matter of balance.

How do we keep our inner fire alive? 2 things, at minimum, are needed: an ability to appreciate the positives in our life – and a commitment to action. Every day, it’s important to ask and answer these questions: ‘What’s good in my life?’ and ‘What needs to be done’?

Are you on the right track towards your goals?
Have a SPARKnificent day!

emoticon Hi, I'm back. My sincerest apologies for disappearing but I needed a mental and physical break. I hope all has been well in my absence. Please stop by the team page and let us know how you are doing.

Motivation:

Nothing can add more power to your life than concentrating all your energies on a limited set of targets.-- Nido Qubein

The 80/20 rule says that on a list of 10 tasks, only 2 of those tasks will return 80% of the value of the entire list. Look at your ‘to do’ list for today. Which tasks are directly related to what you most want in life? Find the 2 high value items on your list and tackle them first. These tasks are the ones that really move us forward.

Many of us actively avoid the top 2 priorities because they are more challenging than the rest. If they are to lead us to worthy goals, they are undoubtedly asking us to move into new territory in thinking and acting, and this can be scary. Howver this is also REWARDING! This week Follow the 80/20 rule!

Have a beautiful Day!

emoticon , How are you? Just getting back from San Diego. Went to rest up and give my mind a break before I start studying for the next round of exams. Hopefully your workout habits have been better than mine, but I plan to rectify it by going for a long walk with my dogs and then a run later - what about you?

Motivational Message:

I do not accept any absolute formulas for living. No preconceived code can see ahead to everything that can happen in a persons life. As we live, we grow and our beliefs change. They must change. So I think we should live with this constant discovery. We should be open to this adventure in heightened awareness of living. We should stake our whole existence on our willingness to explore and experience.-- Martin Buber

Personal growth can be a long hard journey or it can be a beautiful transformation - how do you see yours?

It's a new month, time for a fresh step. If you are seeing great changes emoticon - keep up the pace.

If you are not happy with your progress, take a step back and see how you can make some alterations perhaps more emoticon , a little extra cardio or no late night snacking. Stop by the team and let us know. We are here to support you emoticon .

Have a sparktacular day, week, month!
