How willing are you to learn something new? How open are you to new perspectives?
Only when we're open can we really hear what's being said or really see what's happening or really experience the moment.
Openness demands that we be willing to move to places we've never been before. It asks us to continually challenge the foundations of our belief systems so we can test out new ideas. And to do that, we need to accept insecurity.
Make this week all about committing to the changes you want to see and learning new things.

Too many times people attempt to live their lives backwards: they try to have more material things or money, in order to do more of what they want so they will be happier. The way it actually works is the
reverse. You must first BE who you really are, then DO what you love to do, in order to HAVE what you want.
The formula for success is first Be, then Do, then Have. If our material abundance reflects the quality of our BEING, then how much do we focus on what we are actually DOING? As with everything in life, itâ€™s a matter of balance.
How do we keep our inner fire alive? 2 things, at minimum, are needed: an ability to appreciate the positives in our life â€“ and a commitment to action. Every day, itâ€™s important to ask and answer these questions: â€˜Whatâ€™s good in my life?â€™ and â€˜What needs to be doneâ€™?

The 80/20 rule says that on a list of 10 tasks, only 2 of those tasks will return 80% of the value of the entire list. Look at your â€˜to doâ€™ list for today. Which tasks are directly related to what you most want in life? Find the 2 high value items on your list and tackle them first. These tasks are the ones that really move us forward.
Many of us actively avoid the top 2 priorities because they are more challenging than the rest. If they are to lead us to worthy goals, they are undoubtedly asking us to move into new territory in thinking and acting, and this can be scary. Howver this is also REWARDING! This week Follow the 80/20 rule!

, How are you? Just getting back from San Diego. Went to rest up and give my mind a break before I start studying for the next round of exams. Hopefully your workout habits have been better than mine, but I plan to rectify it by going for a long walk with my dogs and then a run later - what about you?
