There are a ton of articles about salt if you'd like to peek. Ultimately salt does not make you gain weight, but it does promote water retention. Because I had lots of salt before weigh in last week the scale went up. But now that is gone. It's cosmetic (bloated feeling) and distressing (when you have weigh in the next day like me!) but salt does not truly make you "gain weight." Hope this helps. emoticon

Good morning, Elizabeth! Set yourself up for success using SMART strategies. Create effective goals that are specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and timely. They will positively change your life. You will achieve results! Have a wonderful time in Florida!

emoticon M = MEASURABLE - How will you know you have achieve it?
emoticon A = ATTAINABLE - Is it something that you have control over?
emoticon R = RELEVANT - Is it applicable to the goal and what you are working on right now?
emoticon T = TIMELY - What is your deadline for getting this goal done?

Thanks for the add! I am always happy to meet homeschoolers. I homeschooled my two boys for years. They are grown now.
