Time for a revamp to my page. I am making changes to my life, and slowly but surely, I know I will get to where I need to be. I am tracking my calorie intake, I have joined a gym, and I am actually enjoying exercise. My goal is to be between about 130 and 160lbs. I have not weighed less that 200lbs since I was a young kid, so it depends on how my body feels.
Every time I have tried to diet in the past, I have failed. This time, I had a paradigm shift. I am going to lose weight for me. I want to be healthy and slender and sexy. I want to be able to shop at the mall and buy things at all the cute clothing stores. I want my feet to not hurt anymore, and I want to have the energy to live an active, full, fun lifestyle.
I want to get pregnant, have a healthy pregnancy, a healthy baby, and then be fit and energetic enough to take care of my baby the way it will deserve.

My goals for this summer are to continue losing weight at a reasonable pace, and to continue working hard even after my optifast program ends. Ideally, I want to be at 250 or less by the time the holidays roll around. To do that, I will have to lose about 3 lbs per week, which is pretty reasonable considering my current dietary restrictions, weight, and exercise level.
As far as energy goes, by the end of the summer, I want to be able to run for 10 minutes without stopping. Before the holidays, I would like to work on 15 to 20 minutes without stopping. I am hoping my body (particularly my right knee) will allow me to do this safely.
I am eating 960 calories per day. I am exercising at least 3 times per week. I am being honest with myself, and making smarter decisions on a daily basis.
I live in Lansing, Michigan, though I am a small-town girl at heart. I appreciate that there is a lot to do and a lot of opportunity in the city. I am 23 years old, and I have a great husband, and a beautiful home and four rambunctious, happy puppies.
I am obsessed with Harry Potter. Obsessed. Also, I love to write and to sing. I read a lot, I am a sci-fi fan. I also need to make friends, so if anyone is interested in these things too, we should get together and hang out!
