Keep Trudging One Day at a Time

I started SparkCoach ten days ago and I will be getting one month for $.99 because I have found it makes a real difference in my approach to the Spark page. I was in an all or nothing mode: either I was online for an hour trying to get points or I didn't do anything. With SparkCoach I can do a little each day and leave it along otherwise. I have lost a total of 50 pounds and I was in a rut, bouncing around with the same 5 pounds. SparkCoach has gotten me going again and I love it.

I want a healthy body that is fit. I want to lose 25 more pounds so that my knees don't hurt as much. I want to work on my sewing projects in a consistent manner in order to finish the projects that have been sitting around for years.

I tore the meniscus in my knee and had to have surgery to fix it a year and a half ago. I want you to know that I hike a rugged 5 or more miles a day most days and often incorporate some really steep, rugged, long hills into my hike. So there is life after such knee surgery!

Heck, I was walking up and down the street on crutches within a few days. I did have to have surgery on my right foot less than an year ago and will have to have another surgery on it soon so I'm not totally sound but I'm still getting to hike right now. I hope my next foot surgery works as well as my knee surgery worked.
