Hi I'm Elise

I'm just trying to lose some weight and hopefully keep it off long-term to stay healthy and trim.

I go to community college and was introduced to vegetarianism in a class that focused on plant culture (corny, right?). Well, yea, needless to say, I'm a typical college student-turned-vegetarian. I didn't do it for the animals, really, just for my personal health and the environment. I wouldn't recommend it to everyone, but I would recommend replacing a few meals a week with a dish of ...

I wouldn't recommend it to everyone, but I would recommend replacing a few meals a week with a dish of beans, lentils, tofu, or just leafy green vegetables. It's only been a few months now, and I'm not too strict because sometimes there is NOTHING but meat or fish in our house and there's no choice.
