Hello,

I am a 29 y/o mother of a beautiful blonde little speed demon who keeps me on my toes all day. Right now he wears me out by the end of the day, but I am working on changing that. I want my little guy to be able to make better choices than I did, starting a lot younger. He deserves to be healthy and so do I.

My Goals:
My goal is to get into a size 18 jean. Since my son I don't know if I'd ever be able to get into anything smaller but I'd be nice to see :). I want to work on my fly-away arms and muffin top.

My Program:
I am working with my Wii and the Sparks ST. I am working on getting some hand weights.

Other Information:
I love to read. When we moved I had cull my book collection by nearly 200 books. I am currently going back to school to become a teacher :).

Hi there! I saw in another section one of your goals was to buy a food scale. That's a GREAT step in the right direction! Try to get one that can weigh in ounces and grams and you will be set! There are so many foods and recipes out there and I mix and match them all and my scale has been a life saver for me-one of the best investments I ever made! (of course, I'm totally anal about weighing and measuring stuff, but I only got that way after I bought my scale bwahaha) emoticon

In all honesty, about half of that is going to my church's "help pantry", which I stock 80%-90% of for them with my excessive couponing...it just occurred to me while I was convincing the grocery story to special order 10 cases of bacon for me that I've gone over the edge. :)
If you're really interested in couponing, I suggest checking out the website thekrazycouponlady.com, and reading through all of their beginner materials. It's how I learned the basics of couponing...and I took it to my own extremes from there. :)

Thanks so much for your comment on my blog. Your words make a lot of sense. I would need to find something to do for just myself in this case since it's his friend who is here and I wouldn't want to take him away from them. I do need to learn just to do my own thing though. It's so hard when you know what you want to do and can't do it. I appreciate you showing me that my thinking is an accomplishment. Looking at it through your eyes I can see that. It is newly found for me though. Last week would not have been the same case. If you can see that in me then I don't think you are very far off from finding that yourself. Once you start eating better and working out I feel like it's a bit of a craving. I hope that you are able to find that yourself. If I can help in any way at all please let me know. I would love to be your sounding board or just a source of encouragement.. :)

Oh gotcha!! I'm 5'11'' myself so that makes a lot more sense now. I did go over and read your cycling blog *very interesting by the way :)* so I'm more in the know now. You rock!
