Wantin' to SPARKLE!

I found SP while looking for a calorie counter online. I couldn't believe this site was free!! I spent DAYS on it, learning and relearning everything I could. I immediately changed my lifestyle. It was intense. It was exhausting. However, I quickly saw results. SP is the BEST!

My Goals:
Other than lose the darn weight, I also want to be stronger and healthier.

I am also doing the cardio and the strength training.

Personal Information:
I was born and raised in Oregon. Have been living 18 years in California. Am married to a wonderful guy for 18 years also. Have had a weight problem since third grade. FINALLY, figured out why.

Other Information:
I've been a Christian for a very long time.

I live a rather quiet life. Rather sedentary (which thanks to SP, is changing, for the better.)

Love watching movies with dancing in them. Wish I could have been a dancer.

I also am an avid reader.

Hi, I just read your comment on my page. I haven't been diagnosed with any food allergies, but I have noticed that when I drink milk I tend to have some really bad acne. Also I rarely eat pork, so it gives me some tummy trouble when I do. I must say that when I can afford organics I feel a lot better and have much more energy.

Hi Elisa. Thank you for stopping by and commenting on my page. I have lost about 25 pounds since January 2014. I began feeling better within a week of going back on the anti-inflammatory diet. I am now on the DeFlame Diet. I basically avoid pro-inflammatory foods. I try to focus on deflaming rather than inflaming my intestinal system, with every bite I take? I eat mostly organic fruits & veggies, nuts, fish, chicken and lean meat (like bison). Hope this helps answer your questions. When did you start your Anti-Inflammatory Diet?

I read the article on 'milk' that you sent. It is amazing the gut pain I get after having dairy. Two days ago I had some whipping cream [whipped it from carton] on a strawberry crepe and the rest of the day had a terrible gut ache.
I have had the crepe minus the whip cream on another day and no problem.
As I get older i'm having to watch what I eat in order to feel o.k.
