Wantin' to SPARKLE!

I found SP while looking for a calorie counter online. I couldn't believe this site was free!! I spent DAYS on it, learning and relearning everything I could. I immediately changed my lifestyle. It was intense. It was exhausting. However, I quickly saw results. SP is the BEST!

The CV & water mixture (as I understand, Google for more info)...but if rubbed into the cat hair. It is supposed to make the cat acidic and not attractive to fleas.

I am currently traveling. Just dropped son off @ his college [in Oregon]. Visiting eldest daughter & her family also.

Hot Flashes & another "child leaving the nest" do not mix...that & spouse who is still having an identity crisis after retirement. emoticon

So...definitely in need of Prayer !

Just checking in and hoping all is well. For fleas... Cider Vinegar w/ some water maybe? Hope you get those fleas gone soon. They can be pesky.

Have a good weekend.

Sounds like you have a lot of good garden things going on!

I had the rain barrel since May, but just got it hooked up bc it required a downspout diverter. I also but a screen in the downspout to help keep debris from getting into the barrel. The hardest part of the project was getting out all the roots and figuring out what sort of base to put it on as I wanted one that would give me a bit of water pressure. I made a concrete form, but when I found out how many bags of concrete it would take to fill it made one out of cement block topped with a piece of exterior grade plywood. Eventually I will paint it with some design, but for now I'm just happy the project is done.

I still collect water is off my roof. You might want to try that next time it rains. I position coolers and plastic storage containers, pails, in a line in front of my garage where I don't have a gutter. Then I transfer the water I collect into empty gallon water and milk jugs. Last rain I harvested 110 gallons of water this way. It's labor intensive, but great for the garden. When you use the coolers you can just put the top down if you don't have empty jugs and have rain water with no threat of mosquitos.

Tomatoes won't set fruit once it gets too hot. You might not have that problem but we do here in Texas. They also need a lot of sun or they will grow a strapping healthy plant but no maters! I got a pretty good harvest once the rats were dealt with, just not from the plant they ravaged.

Good luck with your gardening projects! Luck is a big component in gardening success, just like in all things here on Earth!

Be well!

I know how you feel (I've watched MANY SPARKlings 'pass me by')... and listen, you'll get there... and I'll be here waiting to glory with you in your success! Being six months into a two year stint puts you ahead of me and my three years into a five-year prognosis.

Keep the faith!

...and don't let my jubilation fool you... I may have got my eager little mitts on that ONE particular trophy, but I have a LONG ways to go yet before I can claim VICTORY... doesn't mean we can't crow about the small things along the way.
