June 2009: Recently (after 15 years of tests) diagnosed with a gluten intolerance and venous insufficiency (circulation problem). Put together they gave me lymphedema which means exercising can be sometimes painful, sometimes fatiguing. Need to find ways to stay active and lose weight, so I can keep the problem under control. Feb 2011: Losing weight proved impossible due to ballistic thyroid. Now thyroid has been evicted, so I'm starting again. Dec 2012: Lymphedema got out of hand, making it hard to exercise, with more weight gain. It's a vicious circle because the only way to get the lym. under control is to lose weight. So starting yet again. March 2013: Started Lent. Gave up my 2 worst triggers-chocolate and pb (except for 1 cup of cocoa allowed per day-made with skim milk and only 1/4 tsp cocoa). Also only eating fruit between meals. Lost 13 lbs so far. MUST keep it up after Easter.

My Goals:
I want to be able to walk easily again, which means losing weight to control the lymphedema and staying off gluten and too much sodium.
My Program:
Dec 2012: Moved leg pumping up to every night possible. Doubling time. Have to be super careful of salt (fun during the holidays). Tracking food again.
