Here's To A Healthy 2015!

I've lost 145 lbs so far. I had actually lost more and then I gained some back. I'm trying hard to stay on track but sometimes it's difficult. I hurt my back and my foot over the summer so I haven't been able to hula hoop or use the elliptical, and I feel like that's affected my progress.

My Goals:
I weighed 4o7 at my highest. I was diagnosed with diabetes in Feb 2014 and decided to change my eating habits and lifestyle to get the diabetes under control.

My Program:
I am eating between 1200 and 1400 calories a day, and riding my bike, hula hooping and using the elliptical several times a week.

Personal Information:
I live in San Antonio, TX, on the far west side. If you've seen a plus-sized gal riding around on a hot pink bicycle, that's me!

Other Information:
I am a mother of two girls, who go to online public school. We have two dogs, three birds, four guinea pigs (my babies!) and some fish.

Wow, I just saw your post on a message board and visited your page. You have made amazing progress!

Personally, I've found that my weight loss pattern includes periods of consistent loss and then long periods of just stalling at one weight - not so much a plateau as maybe a burnout of motivation. Don't let that, or even a gain, discourage you. Look at what you've done!
