I am a 40 something-year-old mother of two teens from Northeast PA and like many people on here, I have been dealing with the "battle of the bulge" my entire life. I have tried numerous weight loss options from Slim Fast and diet pills to Weight Watchers (where I had the most success) and Atkins, etc. I have lost and then gained back my weight with every one of them. I am at a point right now where I REALLY hate the way I look and I am self conscious about everything from my double chin to my muffin top to my swollen ankles! Not to mention my clothes not fitting me properly! I REFUSE to buy BIGGER clothing!! I'd rather spend my money on healthy food than bigger pants! So here I am. My biggest challenge is gaining motiviation and keeping it. My intentions are to visit this website regularly to gain motivation since it has worked before. I would like to lose about 100 lbs in all, although I will set small goals for myself so that they are easier to accomplish.

My Goals:
1. Get my money's worth at the gym.

2. Cut out junk food.

3. Green Belt in Tang Soo Do.

4. Drink more water daily.

5. Spend more time in the produce department!

My Program:
--Advocare products

-- Martial arts 3x a week, elliptical at gym and strength training rest of week.

--Adding more fiber, and protein to my diet.

--Drinking at least 120 oz of water a day.

-- Writing down what I eat.

Personal Information:
I'm 5'7

I recently (3/2015) started taking martial arts classes and I absolutely LOVE it!

I work for a state law enforcement agency.

I have two teenagers--a wonderful daughter (19) and an amazing son (17).

I am a devoted dog lover! I have two--a Doberman and a Dutch Shepherd

I'm doing ok as well. I gained so much weight over the holidays that when I finally got on the scale and saw it...I broke up with food and completely stopped eating for a whole week! Then I started a two-week plan I saw on Dr. Oz. I have 4 more days of that and then I'll try something else. The calorie counting works but I'm not in the mood to count, weigh and measure everything right now. Yes, I am still doing BLC but I've switched teams a couple times. I like the structure of the BLC. Another trip?! Get it gurl!!!
