One Day At A Time...
Hello! Thanks for visiting my page!! I am a 39-year-old mother of two teens from Northeast PA and like many people on here, I have been dealing with the "battle of the bulge" my entire life. I have tried numerous weight loss options from Slim Fast and diet pills to Weight Watchers (where I had the most success) and Atkins, etc. I have lost and then gained back my weight with every one of them. Hello! Thanks for visiting my page!! I am a 39-year-old mother of two teens from Northeast PA and like many people on here, I have been dealing with the "battle of the bulge" my entire life. I have tried numerous weight loss options from Slim Fast and diet pills to Weight Watchers (where I had the most success) and Atkins, etc. I have lost and then gained back my weight with every one of them. I am at a point right now where I REALLY hate the way I look and I am self conscious about everything from my double chin to my muffin top to my swollen ankles! Not to mention my clothes not fitting me properly! I REFUSE to buy BIGGER clothing!! I'd rather spend my money on healthy food than bigger pants! So here I am. My biggest challenge is gaining motiviation and keeping it. My intentions are to visit this website regularly to gain motivation since it has worked before. I would like to lose about 100 lbs in all, although I will set small goals for myself so that they are easier to accomplish.

My Goals:
1. Get my money's worth at the gym. 2. Cut out junk food. 3. Stay motivated. 4. Drink more water daily. 5. Spend more time in the produce department!
My Program:
--Keeping track of what I eat everyday. No matter what. --Adding more fiber, and protein to my diet. --Drinking at least 8 c of water a day. --At least 30 minutes on the eliptical at the gym.
Personal Information:
I'm 5'7 I work for a state law enforcement agency. I have two teenagers--a wonderful daughter (17) and an amazing son (15). I have two dogs--a Doberman and a Dutch Shepherd, a ball python and a bearded dragon
Other Information:
If I've learned anything while trying to "diet" it's that I CAN'T diet. It's just not for me. If I restrict myself to certain foods, I will get bored very quickly and I will fail. I eat what I like in moderation. It works for me. Success is not a race, be patient. Success leads to success. Success is always a work in progress. Success doesn't come to you--you go to it. Success is a journey, not a destination. Focus on the process. Some people dream about success... while others wake up and work hard at it. Success is achieved and maintained by those who try-and keep trying. Everyday is a good day to suceed!
