I've decided that I'm officially "maintaining" and not looking to lose any more weight. My BMI is good. My percentage of body fat is good - not quite in the athlete range, but over the 90th percentile for my age. My clothes fit. I'm content. So - moving right along.

Low protein confession: I occassionally eat two slices of fat-free american cheese, folded over twice, as a snack to bump up the protein but not the fat. Dang. It actually reminds me of eating Velveeta, which I loved as a child, so it is like comfort food ... we all take comfort from different things!

Ah, yeah, candy bars ... thankfully, that's not what I crave, but I sure know that feeling that yogurt or grapes or toast won't cut it. Yesterday managed to wait out the dang cravings, and again tonight (so far ... !). I keep praying the stoopid cravings go away, at least for a while!

It is a great place for walking, jogging, running and biking. Picture taking. We spot lots of wildlife and wave to the boaters. Everyone on the route is in such a great mood and friendly.

Start small, celebrate often!

Thanks for the support!
