Peggy's New LifeStyle

I'm 60 years old and I've been married to my soul mate, Charlie, 34 years as of July 11th this year! I'm the proud Mom of two FANTASTIC daughters and Nana to an EXTRAORDINARY grandson, Charlie (we call him Bubby) and his picture is the background for this page:)!
I'm originally from Wisconsin and have been living in Florida almost 8 years and we are LOVING it here! Since March, Charlie and I have been golfing every weekend possible, joined Colony West Golf Club, and play their Scramble every other Saturday afternoon! I LOVE GOLF!!! I have been yo yo dieting since I can remember and (hard as it is for me to believe right now) I was Anorexic way back when...I REALLY WANT to change my lifestyle BIG TIME and KNOW that with SparkPeople I can do it!
SparkPeople are simply AMAZING individuals and I dearly appreciate each and every one of you!!

My Goals:
Lose 10% of my current weight! And then concentrate on the next 10%!
This is definately an attainable goal!

My Program:
Drink 8 glasses of water EVERY day.
Continue to make HEALTHY food choices.
Exercise EVERY day! (This is my toughest goal)

I want to make this a LIFESTYLE CHANGE!

Personal Information:
My ultimate passion is drawing! I also work with watercolor, Pen & Ink, Acrylics, Wood Carving...and various crafts.

Other Information:
I know that I can Be, Do, and Have ANYTHING I want in this life...I want to openly and graciously receive those things I put out in the universe!

I do have propane heat, but we need the electricity to run out hydronic heat. The more reason to have power. We would not want the water pipes to freeze!
Good news, when I came home from work the power was on. Hope it doesn't go off again. They are predicting more high winds and rain until the end of the week. Also, some of the people in the area do not have power yet. They say that they might not have power until the end of the week. I should consider myself lucky.
