The summit of Mt. Bross, one of Colorado's 14,000 ft peaks. I'm trying to do them all! This is #11!

Old headshot. I need new ones and will treat myself to them after I achieve my weight-loss goal!

After my first half-marathon this summer!

I had always been a very healthy kid. Growing up I played hockey, soccer, skied, snowboarded, and hiked during the summers with my parents. When I stared high school, I was a very healthy 135 and didn't think much about my weight.
Then, at the end of my freshman year at my annual doctor's appointment, it was brought to my attention that I had gained 15 pounds over the course of the year. Blame it on the sugary snacks I was now eating daily at school, or the pressure of a new environment. Either way I was now in what my doctor called the "pink zone" or in other words, I had veered off of my previously average weight progression into the danger zone.
Despite the warning I continued to put on weight in high school and graduated at the weight of 158. In college, I didn't pack on the freshman 15, but I did manage the freshman 10.

Now I'm about to graduate college. I'm about to be 21. I see my whole life stretching out before me and I don't want my weight to be holding me back. I'm an actor so it's no secret that the product you're selling is yourself. It's hard to be a competent saleswoman when you have doubts about your product.

I'm sick of having doubts. I'm sick feeling bad about myself. And so I decided this is the year to get happy and healthy. It's a new chapter in my life and I CAN'T WAIT!!
