2012 was spent wrestling myself back from a pretty intense depression. I'm at the heaviest I have ever been now, more so than even my previous point. And I hurt pretty badly pretty much every day.

I'm DONE. This changes now. My meds are in check now, I am consistently taking my suppliments as well, and I am the most determined and upbeat I have been in winter ever. So. I start again. And again. And make every day Day 1.

Mid thirties, looking to be healthier. I have long term back problems (including two surgeries) which sometimes make it difficult to stay on track.

But I'm an athlete in my head, and I want to make that happen in reality. I love biking and hiking, and I'm hoping to get into rock climbing once I am strong enough for it.

With falling down, I can feel all the pain in my body again. So we start with exercise and moderation of eating. But I am focusing on what my body can do. Not on a weight goal. Because it bugs me now that I am less mobile than I was and I want to be out and about come spring again.

My Goals:
I'm upping my activity level, walking during the day or some indoor exercise.

Activity goals, short and long term:

I want to be able to lift 25 pounds with each arm.

I want to be able to do a full non-modified pushup.

I want to run up 3 flights without getting winded

I want to be able to do 50 crunches.

I want to complete Couch-5k.

I want to be a bike commuter for work

I want to be light enough I can skydive on my own.

I want days with minimal joint pain, and a core that supports my back.

I want to be able to shop in the regular sizes at Target rather than the women's section.

Every 5 lbs - Pedicure
25 lbs - New bras
50 lbs - New clothes
75 lbs - Skydiving trip
100 lbs - Rock Climbing Membership

My Program:
Have as many options in the house to keep moving so that I don't get bored with it, and don't get overwhelmed:

Wii Fit
Balance ball
SP cardio & strength training

I'm tracking my food to make sure I keep myself honest and on target for what I'm eating. But I refuse to deny myself things in the grander scheme, just being careful to eat within my goals.
