Still working

Breastfeeding has been great for my daughter and our relationship, but it did nothing for my weight. We're still nursing, but it is mostly to get her to sleep.

Completing the 5k My Way program has been a great boon to my self-esteem, and my stubborn post partum pouch is finally receding.

I plan to keep up my running routine, and I'll be running an actual 5k in October.

Heya! I've gotten recipes from three places this week - SparkPeople, which had the good chicken and whole wheat pasta one, the Diet Tribe website (you go to Lifetime first and then find it from there), and this book I got called 1.001 Low-Fat Vegetarian Recipes, edited by Sue Spitler. I like the Diet Tribe recipes because heemphasizes real food you make yourself, but which is easy and quick.
Have fun and happy cooking!

Greetings fellow Blue Squad warrior! Great that we'll be on the same squad and moving forward together! One big reason I wanted to join the 8-week challenge was to push and be pushed past the"two steps forward" and into a whole big march of progress!
Thanks for my goodie, too! Makes my day ~:-)
GO BLUE!

Thanks for the star. I'm going to strive to do it again this week. I really wanted to lose 4 but i'll be glad for the 3pds. I'm having some bursitis in my right shoulder, elbow and the pain is radiating down to the wrist. I probably will go to the doc to have the shoulder and elbow injected. The pain from the injection is worth the releif. had it before but not at the same time. but i have a high toleranc of pain but it's strting to interfere with my sleep. and typing on the puter. can't have that. LOL I went ride bikes this morning 6 miles. will repeat it again this evening.

BIG TIME CONGRATS on maxing out your fitness points!!! Well done!
And thanks for that great bag - between the goodie and your success, I'm motivated to go and walk. It's a beautiful night.
GO YOU! emoticon

"I miss liking my body.." Well said! I liked everything you said in your intro. It looks like I joined about a month after you, with a similar weight loss goal.
Best of luck to both of us and all of us!
