My Goals:
To learn as much as possible about exercise and nutrition.

100 Push ups-completed Dec. 2009 (actually did 115)
200 Crunches-completed Dec. 2009

200 Squats Challenge-completed did 210 September 2010


Ran the D&H Rails to Trails Half Marathon on Sept. 12, 2010. My time was 2:27!
I ran the D& H Rails half marathon in Sept. of 2011 with a friend.

Became a certified WKC Kettlebell Instructor in January, 2011. Certified Strength and Conditioning coach in August of 2011.
Just certified as a Kettlebell Sport Coach Feb. 2012.
My long term goal is to become Master of Sport. Short term goal is to advance in my ranking. I just submitted my rank 2 attempt (skipping from rank 4 to rank 2).
Update..made rank 1 at World Kettlebell competion. My next goal is CMS..candidate for Master of Sport.

My Program:
I'm reading everything that I can about training, nutrition and fitness. SparkPeople is an amazing site!

Count calories and stay within my range.

I train with kettlebells at least 4 times a week and do cardio 1 to 2 times a week. I am training to compete in the World Kettlebell Competition on October 29, 2011.
I took 2nd place in the World Kettlebell Competition for my weight class with the 12 kg bell. I completed enough reps to move me to Rank 1.
Feb. 2012..I am training for a Longcycyle kettlebell competition in May and Biathlon competition in October 2012.

Thanks for the Jeff Galloway book idea. I am getting good pointers from it for my upcoming 10k and then half marathon. What do you have coming up?

Happy Almost Spring!! This coming Tuesday marks the Spring Equinox and in preparation for the first day of the new season I would like to wish you a brand new start, never-ending moments of poise and balance and a joyful tip over on the scale to the side of light.
