Ran the D&H Rails to Trails Half Marathon on Sept. 12, 2010. My time was 2:27!
I ran the D& H Rails half marathon in Sept. of 2011 with a friend.

Became a certified WKC Kettlebell Instructor in January, 2011. Certified Strength and Conditioning coach in August of 2011.
Just certified as a Kettlebell Sport Coach Feb. 2012.
My long term goal is to become Master of Sport. Short term goal is to advance in my ranking. I just submitted my rank 2 attempt (skipping from rank 4 to rank 2).
Update..made rank 1 at World Kettlebell competion. My next goal is CMS..candidate for Master of Sport.

I'm reading everything that I can about training, nutrition and fitness. SparkPeople is an amazing site!

Count calories and stay within my range.

I train with kettlebells at least 4 times a week and do cardio 1 to 2 times a week. I am training to compete in the World Kettlebell Competition on October 29, 2011.
I took 2nd place in the World Kettlebell Competition for my weight class with the 12 kg bell. I completed enough reps to move me to Rank 1.
Feb. 2012..I am training for a Longcycyle kettlebell competition in May and Biathlon competition in October 2012.

Are you still here? It's been a while since you've updated your status or since I've seen you around... Hopefully you're just lurking and quietly still chasing your own goals but in case you're not, please remember:

People disappear for all sorts of reasons. Life gets in the way, we forget or change our views on what we deem is important, we get buried under stress, frustration, illness. We sometimes give up, throw in the towel, or just promise ourselves that once things get better/easier/calmer, we will hitch up our socks and come back fresh. We've all done it. We've all been there. And if perhaps, you just need a supportive hug, or a helping hand or a word of inspiration, please know that I am offering it to you with no judgment, no guilt. It seems like it's been a while since you've been here and I just wanted to let you know that you are missed.

This coming Tuesday, May 1st, is the celebration of May Day.  This day has been adopted several times over for different purposes and may be called by different names so no matter what you celebrate;

The History of May Day: 

"Etymologically, [May Day] is a homophone (same sounding word) for the international call for help. We live on an incredible planet. It is full of magic and beauty and has the ability to take our breath away... literally. This planet we call Earth is my home. It is your home. It belongs to all of us. How amazing that we get to live in such an awe-inspiring place.
