I've met my goal- 140 lbs.!!Jan.19,09
When I got married 14 yrs ago. I had been at 125,but then had gotten to 135 which was still not bad,but then lost my dad unexpectedly (2002)and didn't care for a while. Then once I got to 145,I was working out regularly ,but wasn't losing weight.I was probably gaining muscle,but didn't think to take my measurements to track weight loss.I tried again when I go to 150,but didn't stick with it when I wasn't successful at first. My Goals:
be wearing size 10 in jeans/dress slacks - met-Dec.2,2008 I can wear a 6 in some pants woohoo! Goal weight met( 140lbs- Jan.19,09
My Program:
I have cut down my portion sizes , eating fruit and veggies every day,drinking 8 glasses or more of water, 3 days I do strength training- including free weights 20lbs, leg press 160-180 lbs., overhead pulldown 100-110 lbs 5-6sets of each. I do 50-60 min. cardio 6-7 days a week I usually do stair stepper,but occasionally will do treadmill or treadmill and stair stepper other days I ride my 15 speed to the park(weather permitting)
