For Myself

I need this primarily for myself, but I know that it impacts my three daughters. Ever since I hit my 50's my metabolism has slowed down. I've always been able to eat anything in any quantity, and not gain a pound. Not any more.

Other Information:
The year that I turned 50 I went on my first hike. My husband is a big hiker, and I wanted something else to share with him. Since then I've been hiking to celebrate all our 'milestones' - birthdays, anniversaries, holidays. Living in up state NY, we do a lot of Adirondack hikes, but we also hike in the Shawangunks and the White Mountains of NH.

LOL You were so close in your guessing though! Ya I had seen cashews instead of peanuts a few times and figured I would try it too and it works well!

I hope you enjoy it too I am really loving this salad right now! I think the toasted sesame seeds are one of my fave parts!

Ya I'm glad putting something away either in the freezer or the pantry works pretty well for me. For the most part "out of sight out of mind" is true. I do still have to have self-control to not go and get it when I can't "afford" it though!!! LOL It helps that I promise myself I can have one everyday and when I do have it I savor every bite to the max!

I've been wanting to try some roll ups too! I saw some made with cucumber slices! I've really been loving Thai flavors lately so that one you mentioned sounds really good!
