Yes, always make gym one of the "top "contendas" in choices.

You're a doc, you know: if you are hitting the gym as much as you say, you're "bulking" up, which could partially explain your scale standstill.

Put the scale away for awhile, and don't focus so much on that. It seems to be defeating you.

Keep in mind that it's not all about the numbers on a scale, but how you are becoming more invigorated, having more energy for your activities that are important to you, and your general, improved wellbeing.

The weight loss will come, but be patient.

Ok, so no weight loss in three months but how are your clothes fitting?

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my blog, "One Hundred Days To A Sustainable Habit."

As you know, this whole adventure has so little to do with weight, as to figuring out the battle we do with ourselves mentally.

Congrats on hitting the gym so religiously. Take some pictures NOW! You'll start to see noticeable changes. It's not only about some number on a scale. You know that. Just stick with it.

Meet you at the top!

I think they try ultrasound on most stones now. He couldn't have it done on the first one as it was too late and the stone was hung in his ureter already. I've never been put under anesthesia either and would not like it at all. Ian has had his tonsils and adenoids out, had a bilateral myringotomy and then years later had to have them reversed, he had his wisdom teeth removed, and then the 3 kidney stone surgeries all under anesthesia.

Ian got pneumonia and MRSA when he was away at college and then got it again a year it so later. The second time he came home and gave it to me. I don't get it as bad as he did but I get it more often and now Benny has it. The first one Ian had was the size of a large grapefruit/small cantaloupe and it had a sinus develop. I had to irrigate it and pack it with wet to dry dressings twice a day until it healed. It descended down his leg where he had another sinus near his knee. Hubby had a bad one of his gluteous maximus which left huge dent. Once you have them they are like herpes simplex. They stay dormant and rear their ugly heads from time to time.
