Yeah, we've seen these metal and enamel cups with a special metal straw that has sort of like a strainer at the end. Though I thought the shop keeper told us it was for coca leaf tea, which we drank in Ecuador and Peru to deal with the altitude problems we had. (It tastes sort of like green tea without the bitterness.) 114 days ago
Yeah, I taught art for 25 years - my day job was with middle school students, but my after-school job was directing (and often teaching) an art program for talented high school students who mostly went on to art schools and pursued careers in art. So, art pretty much is my subject. 126 days ago
For Sammy-Thanks for the advice! I do KNOW, but it is not fresh in my mind after 3 years! I have not put him in the crate if he won't go outside. He usually does, but maybe not enough, and he does know the words 'pee and poop'. He will go, but quickly to get back inside, and then go again inside. Or he will pee and then poop in the house 5 minutes later. Or will just stand up and pee my couch out of nowhere!! Yeah. Charlie did none of this. His accidents were usually concentrated by the door because he knew right away to go out after being corrected like a few times, because he was raised by a family breeder. Sammy was a shelter dog and in a foster home that was more like a small shelter. It was a family that had them but they have a "Puppy House" out back that is like a small garage, but clearly built for this purpose. I am sure where he came from before was bad. These people seemed to really care and were kind of misty when I took him. I think whatever he endured was before that, and I am not sure how much he got outside and they seemed to paper train them. Not going to do that, and Sammy already knows not to go in the crate or the playpen. Its just when he is loose in the house. Playing usually.
BTW, Charlie got one tick on Revolution, fully engorged, and another on Nexguard pill. He got Lyme's after the pill. They don't work, at least not here!! I am looking more towards a repellant now as I said in my response to your email. 127 days ago
It seems like I always end up sick at this time of year if I'm going to get sick. I just hope I don't get pneumonia. I had it in 2006 and 2013. I feel horrible. I can't imagine how you worked. I just made me some tea. I hope I can sleep tonight. I think of you almost every day. I watch a lot of the vet shows on T.V. and love them. 127 days ago
