With my best friend.

Seeing the world invites deeper inner journeys. Standing in front of a church in Sevilla, Spain.

Gentle reflections.

Crave Life Not Food
Welcome! This team is on a journey. "Crave Life Not Food" is the motto and a reminder that if we choose to embrace life with the same intensity and single-mindedness that we give to food, we can't help but succeed in any goal we set for ourselves. Welcome! This team is on a journey. "Crave Life Not Food" is the motto and a reminder that if we choose to embrace life with the same intensity and single-mindedness that we give to food, we can't help but succeed in any goal we set for ourselves. Question is how do we learn to crave life? Here is my reflection: It requires changing old patterns. For me, it begins with being self aware, really paying attention to what I'm doing and saying at each moment - and, keeping my ego out of the way. I can't learn anything with ego insisting it is right. Silence - not encouraged in today's broadband speed world of constant news noise and buying things. Silence is my precursor for insight and change. Working for the benefit of others is also central to my life. It took many, many years to learn this about myself and accept it as a strength, not a weakness. I was thrilled to read an article in the Economist, "The Joy of Giving." It reaffirmed what many suspected for a long time. Giving feels good. When we give, the part of our brain associated with pleasure fires away. Neuro-scientists can actually see this. Hope you decide to join this journey, where we give our best self for the benefit of others, through our shared reflections, positive actions, and high energy thoughts. Life is good! This is an exciting and exhilarating time. Be well, ECPLUS
