Trying to practice what I preach, and be the change I wish to see: Healthy food, healthy lifestyle. 20 years veg. I love wine, running, hiking, reading, people watching, and discovering new places. I have furry kids and a love for gardening. Always looking for inspiration. Struggling to be fit, work crazy hours, and sleep. And when I'm truly feeling out of energy or spirit, I visit the ocean and let the look, feel, and smell of the waves and the sand and the sun recharge my soul.

Thanks for commenting on my blog. I chose the Lean program on P90X because from all the reviews I read the Plyo workout was hard on your knees. My knees are bad anyway so I thought I might stay away from that one. Also from what I read the Lean was more cardio. I didn't find the cardio all that intense or that much of a workout really. Yes, I will do hybrids of P90X again and probably in the winter or when I'm adjusted to my new schedule. I love the strength workouts! I will probably ride my stationary bike for the cardio in the future. Thanks for the yoga suggestion. I'll check out Rodney Yee.

Thanks for the nice comment on my blog, and my condolences for your mustard greens! I don't know if you read my blog the other day about the mustard greens in my green smoothie, but ((gag)) that was not a keeper! I did saute/steam them last night and mixed them with coleslaw mix and black beans and they were great. Cooking definitely improves them, Sorry yours were so unpalatable! Next time! (WWICD?--What would Isa Chandra do?)

Thanks for your comments on my blogs. I'm in California where we had some unseasonably warm weather next week.

I appreciate the encouragement not to rush ahead with the training.

Thank you for your kind, encouraging words. Why is it so hard to be kind to ourselves? Well, if I ever figure it out, I will let you know. In the meatime, let's all keep cheering each other on. This journey isn't always easy, but we are not alone in it! That is an encouraging thought! Have a great day! emoticon
