I just wanted to say thanks for starting the Living With Panic Attacks group, rather delayed as I joined awhile ago but better late than never. I can completely relate to all of what your saying except not having my man around. He is such a great support system for me so I can imagine how hard it must be to have yours away. Just wanted to give you the encouragement though as well that I have found that as long as I stick to my healthy lifestyle choices, get all my sleep and get even a little bit of "me" time in each day. The attacks are minimal to none! I do have situations of course where they pop up with no reason either and I too have to just really focus on the fact that "hey this thing isnt going to kill me, it's only a matter of controlling it and realizing what is happening". Ha, sounds so simple but in the moment not so much! :) Anyway thanks again and please feel free to contact me anytime to talk.
thanks for the optimistic perspective on my blog =). i've been thinking that i may not be losing so much weight bcuz i HAVE been doing strength-training 3 times a week (including the night before weigh-in), so i might just be gaining muscle. i'm kinda hesitant to weigh myself again bfore a week's up bcuz if i do wind up w/ a lower weight and then it fluctuates once more, i'll just be frustrated by not knowing which weight to believe, LoL! however, i think if this pattern continues into next week's weigh-in, i may just take those few extra steps on the scale just to be sure ^_^". i'm definitely noticing a difference in the way my clothes fit, tho, so i guess i should at least be thankful for that much ^_^". thanks again for sharing your thoughts and suggestions! (and CONGRATS on all the progress u've made thus far, too! =D)
Haha I love your comment on how you used to blame your metabolism. That is EXACTLY the realization I came to...that it's not my metabolism, it's that I was being, "well, a pig." So funny! I honestly believed I was screwed over by the gods of metabolism. While that might still be true, it certainly doesn't justify being 30 lbs overweight!
