Welcome to my page! I started my weight loss journey in January 2009.
My name is Eileen and I was born/raised in New Jersey. I am 37yrs old.
Most of my family is in Miami, but only because they've been slowly migrating there throughout my life. Now I'm the only one left in NJ, but it gives me a really good reason to vacation in Miami often! =

My Goals:
Go From 190 to 138 by 12/31/2011, and establish better eating habits so I can sustain my weight once I've lost it.


My Program:
 My goal is to:
*Lose weight.
*Work out at least 3X's a week.
*Make better food choices throughout the day.




Personal Information:
I love to travel and got the opportunity to go to Rome in 2007. I've now a trip planned to Spain in August 2011. Can't wait!


Other Information:
 Love movies and books. Recently purchased the B&N Nook and Love it! My favorites always change - as of today my favorite book is the Outlander Series. Favorite Movie today is the Lord of the Rings series... and also a billion others I'm forgetting to mention.

Hey pretty lady. I know it is frustrating not losing weight as fast as we want too. I am getting frustrated myself with only losing 2 lbs a week when I am busting my a$$ walking 10 miles a day. This week I am trying something new. I am adding step aerobics to my daily workout at least 3 times this week and I lowered my calories by like 300. We will see what the results are on my official weigh in on Monday. Just once I would like to have a 3.5 lb weight loss week (though at this point I would be happy with 3). I think I deserve it. But the body does what it wants I guess. But the bottom line is we are doing everything we are supposed to do. And all are hard work is going to pay off no matter what the scale says. No reason to apologize. I am glad you wrote on my page. I have actually lost 60.1 lbs now. Woohoo! I was so happy to get that 60 lb trophy. Getting to that 60 lb marker was the hardest marker I have ever had to hit. I was stuck between 50 and 55 forever. But then again, I wasn't really active on SP and now I am. It is amazing what a difference having a support group makes. I hope you are having a fantabulous day. Hugs.

Thanks for replying to my dating website post. I hope you don't mind but I added you as a spark friend. So you have only been here for a couple of weeks huh? Well welcome. This place is amazing. It has been so helpful on my weight loss journey. And you are right about having to lose weight for yourself and not someone else. I tried to lose weight for other people and it never worked. It was only until I got sick and tired of my own reflection and decided to do it for myself that I was able to lose a large amount of weight and be able to keep it off. I am down a total of 55.7 lbs so far. My next weigh in day is Monday. I am excited to get to the 60 lb total weight loss mark. :0)
