Making Life an Adventure
Hello to any visitors! Hope you're making it a great day. My goal in creating this page is to encourage others and, of course, myself. My health and fitness goals are not so much around weight loss. I want to live a fuller life, to climb to new levels of fitness and maybe along the way do a few things I never thought myself capable of. I love to stretch to new goals, whether it's learning a new activity or simply reaching a new milestone, however large or small that step may be. Hey, ...
Hey, that's all part of making life an adventure, right? :) I'm a married mother of two, a two-year-old boy and an eight-month-old baby girl. I'm a loan officer for an international bank, and I teach Sunday school for preschoolers at my church. Yeah. Fitting in fitness and healthy meals (let alone any meal on some nights!) is a challenge. I try to remind myself to make my health and fitness a priority. I want to be the best I can be for myself and for my family. Good luck to anyone viewing this page. I hope you find success in the goals you've set. Most of all, I hope you find an enthusiasm for your own health and fitness to make your life all it can be.

Personal Information:
My name is Tricia Doyle, and I live in Rocky Mount, NC. I've lived here all my life, and I love it here. I started Sparkpeople about 2 or 3 years ago just after my first child was born. I lost the weight super-quick, so baby weight was not an issue. But I struggled with postpartum depression, and exercise became a way of coping. I would take John Thomas out for a ride in the stroller daily, and then I started going out for runs by myself, partly to get away from the newborn baby life. As I gradually adjusted to motherhood and eased out of the postpartum problems, I found that exercise gave me an empowered feeling. I began to set my sights on becoming a runner. And to get to that goal, I signed up for a 10-mile race. It was one of the best things I've ever done for myself. I began to see myself doing something that I'd never thought possible. Haven't looked back since. Eating well and staying fit keeps me at my best, and I love the way I feel.
