Liz's Journey to Fitness

I confess I am always one to help others before myself. It's always easier to fix other people than it is ourself. But I have embarked on a journey that hopefully will continue for a long time.
I started running at the end of June and have taken to it pretty surprisingly. Every time I finish a run I am proud of myself. I sit for 5 minutes after finishing my runs and just say "I can't believe I did it". I do this over and over and it makes me smile.

I feel the same way when I successfully complete a workout with my personal trainer. I'm always shocked when I am able to do the things he has me do. I shocks me what I am capable of and makes me very proud of myself. I'm not perfect but I am getting a lot better with both my diet and my fitness. I can see the progress when I get to the gym and when I run and that makes me very proud of myself and makes me want to keep running and working out.

I CAN do this. I WILL do this. I AM doing this.

Good morning,
Just wanted to get back to wishing my favorite sparkers a howdy from time to time. Hope you are doing well. I am trying to get back into the mojo again of exercising. Hopefully, you didn't fall off like me these holidays. Just too much going on to exercise enough. Still, I know what I need to do and I am definitely going to get back into that groove again.

Anyhow, have a great day and hope to hear from you soon. Good luck this weekend with the Ravens. They are looking tough.

Good Morning Sunshine,
Just checking in on you this weekend to see houw you are doing and wish you Happy Holidays. I trust you had an enjoyable Christmas as well.

Thanks for taking it easy on me last week. I really thought the Cowboys were gonna pull it off. I'd still think so if the game wasn't already over. I appreciate the fact that you didn't rub it in regardless. I doubt I could've contained myself.

You have yourself a great weekend and look forward to another year of exercise.

Just stopping by to see how you are doing. Still running I hope. I am hoping to do the turkey trot this year. That is if I can find one not too crowded. I don'tlike crowds.

Don't forget we play your Ravens this year. You ready for that big game? I'm not. I am just hoping to string some wins together until then. My boys aren't looking good right now.

Anyhow, I hope you are having a great weekend. Keep sparkin'.
