Liz's Journey to Fitness

I confess I am always one to help others before myself. It's always easier to fix other people than it is ourself. But I have embarked on a journey that hopefully will continue for a long time.
I started running at the end of June and have taken to it pretty surprisingly. Every time I finish a run I am proud of myself. I sit for 5 minutes after finishing my runs and just say "I can't believe I did it". I do this over and over and it makes me smile.

I feel the same way when I successfully complete a workout with my personal trainer. I'm always shocked when I am able to do the things he has me do. I shocks me what I am capable of and makes me very proud of myself. I'm not perfect but I am getting a lot better with both my diet and my fitness. I can see the progress when I get to the gym and when I run and that makes me very proud of myself and makes me want to keep running and working out.

I CAN do this. I WILL do this. I AM doing this.

I just wanted to drop by your page and see how your spark journey was going. I hope you are finding all you need here and wanted to make you aware of a great opportunity to stay motivated and find lots of encouragement as we head into the fall season. The Goonies team has formed a challenge with two other teams for the next 12 weeks. Please come join in our TRI-TEAM CHALLENGE. We will weigh every Tuesday starting September 8th. We will also post our exercise minutes after we have put them in the fitness tracker. hope all is going well for you...haven't heard from you in a while.

i had a 6 wk dression where i didn't run at all. now i'm back on the band wagon and using galloway's 1/2 training. it's more invigorating and i enjoy the runs more!
