Liz's Journey to Fitness
I confess I am always one to help others before myself. It's always easier to fix other people than it is ourself. But I have embarked on a journey that hopefully will continue for a long time. I started running at the end of June and have taken to it pretty surprisingly. Every time I finish a run I am proud of myself. I confess I am always one to help others before myself. It's always easier to fix other people than it is ourself. But I have embarked on a journey that hopefully will continue for a long time. I started running at the end of June and have taken to it pretty surprisingly. Every time I finish a run I am proud of myself. I sit for 5 minutes after finishing my runs and just say "I can't believe I did it". I do this over and over and it makes me smile. I feel the same way when I successfully complete a workout with my personal trainer. I'm always shocked when I am able to do the things he has me do. I shocks me what I am capable of and makes me very proud of myself. I'm not perfect but I am getting a lot better with both my diet and my fitness. I can see the progress when I get to the gym and when I run and that makes me very proud of myself and makes me want to keep running and working out. I CAN do this. I WILL do this. I AM doing this.
