Finally it has happened to me...

I HAVE HIT MY HIGHEST WEIGHT AND MY BOTTOM.

I WEIGH 245LBS... 30 lbs more than I weighed when I was 9 months pregnant with my last child.

I am not aiming for perfection, I am for optimum health.

This is something that I have to remind myself of on a daily basis as I try and get rid of my old habits. I am looking forward to making some hardcore changes in my life. I'm tired of wearing this fat suit, being tired, my feet swelling, my back hurting, being ...

I'm tired of wearing this fat suit, being tired, my feet swelling, my back hurting, being winded, not feeling confident, not going out, wearing trapeeze shirts, my muffin top, my 3 chins, my big butt, my size 18 jeans and fast food (had to throw that one in).

I'm ready to change!

GOALS FOR 2011-2012:

I have 3 MAJOR goals that I want to look forward to during the next year.

Goal #1: 199 lbs. I have not seen a 1 in front of my weight in about 6 years. Seeing 199 would mean so much to me.

Goal #2: 175 lbs. The last time I remember feeling comfortable in my skin, I was 175lbs. It is still more than I should weigh and it is also half way to my goal weight.

Goal #3: 140 lbs. This is my goal weight. I felt GOOOD and was looking good when I was this size. For my height (5'3") I would be in a size 8-10 pants, which is perfect for me. Not to small... not to plump. I will reward myself with a shopping spree and a trip to the beach.

I have a few goals:

** To reach my goal weight of 140 by 6/7/09 (A full year of being TOTALLY committed to changing my lifestyle)

** To drink at least half of my body weight in water per day

** To excercise REGULARLY!

** To stop putting myself down about my weight and DO SOMETHING about it!!

** To say something good about myself once a day

** To get my confidence back!!



My Program:
From June 7 - Aug 2, I will be doing The Extreme Fat Smash to get under 200 lbs. After that, I will re-assess my fitness and weightloss goals and decide on a plan that will work with keeping me on the right track to reaching my ultimate goal.

I tried, I tried, I tried :) After day 3, I was SOOOOOO sick, I had to sit it on down. I ended up coming down with pneumonia and my doctor told me to take it easy until I felt better. Working out was making it worse :( So today, I'm at 90% and feeling 1000% better!!! I'm hopping back on the train tomorrow, but instead of heading to the gym, I'm going to pop in one of my numerous workout DVD's. As long as it gets done right? I was feeling a little down about not going the full 21 days, but it was out of my hands. I will start where I left off and I feel ok about it. Thanks 4 checking up on me!

Did you work out Day 3 or were you still feeling sick? By the way - the weather in Atlanta is bipolar too! It will be 70 degrees one day, snow flurries the next, and a tornado the next!

ATL Loser: Yesterday I did 45 min. on the elliptical machine. Normally, I would focus on going F-A-S-T, but yesterday, I just focused on keeping my heart rate up. I used the fat burn setting and my average speed was about 3.0. I ended up doing 2 miles (YAY ME!). I was very proud of me yesterday. I'm off to the gym at noon for day 2.
