Looking forward to 2016

Hi there! I started my journey towards being healthy on Oct 1, 2010 and found Spark People on Jan 11, 2011. I initially lost 50 lbs - some of those pounds more than once unfortunately, before falling off the healthy life style wagon and gaining it all back.

I'm declaring the year 2016 to be the "Year of Eda" in my Life. I want to take the time and energy that is required to make my life an active, happy, healthy place to be. No more excuses, no more being lazy, no more allowing ...

I want to turn 50 years old in March 2017 in the best shape I've ever been in --- including when I went through Basic Training for the Army in 1985. I'm committed and on my way ...

2016 Goals

- Schedule in daily exercise. Stick to the schedule.

- Start eating more clean. Cut down on meat, add in more veggies and find recipes to try new foods.

- Start doing fun things that nourish my heart and spirit.

My Program:
- Start small and apply the "add things in" approach rather than being restrictive.

- Meal planning with an emphasis on actually eating the food I make.

- Work diligently to love myself.
