Me Again

I'm a 24-year-old student. I study the middle ages, especially text and manuscript studies. I like to read, cook, and waste time online.

Take a look at that picture to the left! Those are my undergrad robes! I'm now on my PhD, but I don't have a current picture. Concentrating on keeping healthy here will be a good way to keep me motivated for school, too, so I'm back and I'm jonesing for some fitness!

Hi Ya, I'm a member of the Northern English Lasses team, and stopped by to say hello. I'm from Yorkshire, but left the UK to do university and graduate school in the USA, and haven't lived in the UK since then, though my husband and I take the kids to Yorkshire once every 2 years to see their Nanna and uncles. I started out as a history major, but switched to Linguistics once I took an introductory course, and loved being a student. I was happy in the US because I got a full-time teaching job at the State University, but I quit teaching, no regrets, when I had our kids, triplets. In 2006, we all moved to live in my husband's rural hometown in Taiwan, and there is no univ within easy travelling distance, so I am about to start teaching part-time at a Buddhist High School. I think it will be good fun, and I'm looking forward to it! Good luck with your goals, and have a good day, Danni

I completely agree with your Da Vinci Code comment!!! What an awful book, I don't understand why it did so well!!!! Anyway, I'm a grad student too, majoring in history, starting my dissertation. Fun stuff! Good luck with your goals.
