One meal a day is enough for a lion and would be for all of us if all we did all day was swat flies.

My weight has never really caused me any real distress. I've always been aware that I was on the bigger side, but was mostly confident in my appearance. But after reviewing some old photos and seeing how drastically I've gained in the last few years, I've decided its time to get healthy. After several family members being diagnosed with diabetes my desire to get and stay healthy has strengthened.....we'll see how it goes over the next few months....wish me luck!

My Goals:
i aim to be healthier!!!!!.....and hopefully being smaller with come with it!

My Program:
i don't have a strict program. i don't believe in depriving myself of the things and foods i enjoy. i'm trying to keep within my calorie goals each day, and am trying to get in some sort of exercise (usually a walk) in at least once a day with a min of 5 times a week.

Personal Information:
i am from beautiful British Columbia Canada! i love my home and don't ever plan to leave it....but there are several places i would LOVE to visit!

Thank you for the blog comment! I am going to try for day two of Insanity and see how I feel. I liek your idea of alternating intense workouts 3 days a week and walking on the other day, maybe I will do that! emoticon

I do love the Shred. The workouts are only 27 minutes, but they're intense with no breaks---which I love. The moves are simple, not a bunch of fancy crap. You work more than one muscle group at a time. Plus Jillian isn't perky and obnoxious. I love that I can get such a full body workout in less than a half hour :) I got mine on Amazon for like $9 new!
