Bringin' Sexy Back

Hey everyone! I'm Denielle and have been a member for a few months. I've been married for 12 yrs to my US Marine and we have 3 kids, ages 12,6, and 18months. We are currently stationed in Okinawa Japan and will be here for the next 3 yrs.
For me, I've always felt I could stand to lose some weight. Since the birth of my last child, I now need to drop 30 lbs! I've decided to take myself up on this challenge and expect to have reached my goal by the time Craig come's back from Iraq ...

My inspiration from the best hubby in the world:

" I know it is hard, but you have to stay consistent. Even when you don't feel like it, you have to kick yourself in the butt and DO IT! That's the only way to get where you want to go. Here is something else you should do, Don't weigh or measure yourself every day or week. Don't weigh or measure yourself until September 1. That gives you 1 month to work your butt off (please don't literally work that butt off) and see some results you have to be dedicated though. I know you can do it! I LOVE YOU! Be home soon.

My Goals:
1st~ Lose 15 lbs by Dec 1.
2nd~lose the remaining 15 lbs by Mar 1, 09.

Longterm~ to maintain this weightloss, and learned to like most veggies,lol.

My Program:
I'll be using my kettlebell, and doing the 12 min w/o 3 days/ wk....(this kicks my butt everytime, but I enjoy it! I'm also going to begin the Ab's Diet which really isn't a diet...it's about eating 6 x's a day and eating the 12 Powerfoods...I reccomend reading it, very informative!

Hi from the ABS diet group. The group is active but there hasn't been much talk lately. I guess everyone is real busy this time of year. We've been mostly a support tyoe group. I haven't read up on how the challenges work. Good luck with the plan!

Hi Denielle! Just dropping by to say hi - and say that I just did the Lauren Brooks shorter workout in your honor! :) Your kids are cuties! I waited til my youngest was almost 3 to get back into working out - and then 4 more years to find kettlebells - so you are way ahead of me.... I love the cartoon quote, by the way. She is so funny!
