Hi D,

I'm Charlie and I'm kinda new to horses and I'm on Atkins Low Carb. I was looking through the team members and saw you with your horse.

How are you doing on the Low Carb diet? Do you like it? I love it myself but not everybody does.

Smiles,
Charlie

Hi!! I just joined spark and was delighted to find another horse lover - and within 25 miles from me! I've ridden horses my whole life and enjoy going on trail rides and attending various clinics in the area. My favorite place to ride is Eau Galle!

I have a 4 year old QH mare that I started and ride. My DH has an older QH geldign he rides but I think my DD is going to claim him this year as her own! LOL.

Horses are a window to your soul, I believe.

Good luck in your weight loss journey!

Hi DW - your horse is beautiful! What part of Wisconsin are you from? I live in Arkansas now but I lived in Northern Wisconsin for my high school years in a little tiny town called Cornell. Ever heard of it?

Congratulations! You have lost 10% of your starting weight, which means that your health and risk of further serious illness is already much improved. Living with 'hypo' makes losing weight a much harder challenge and I have spurts of being positive and taking it easy. Being realistic, this seems to be effective as my metabolism has to keep adjusting. I'm currently back on the Atkins induction and tring to get 'keto' working again. I think this is a good sign that I'm losing my awful fat and not muscle. My weakness in recent weeks has been yummy icecream but I stocked up on lean proteins and low carb veggies at the supermarket. How is your week going?

Honored to be added as a friend on your page. I'm adding you to mine, too. We can journey on this path together. ~Less
