DVAFYD's New Healthy Lifestyle

I am ready to establish good health habits that will help me feel my best ever and always.

I've been on a health journey for my whole life. I've definitely been at a high point, back in August 2004 when I hit my Weight Watchers weight goal but I quickly slipped away from my goal weight for a variety of reasons but it has taken a LONG time to get back to my original size. Weight Watchers does work, but I don't see it as the holistic approach that Spark seems to be.

Weight Watchers does work, but I don't see it as the holistic approach that Spark seems to be.

This time, I want it to be all about how I FEEL and not about the number on the scale. Truth is, I have not weighed myself since December 2008! I made a decision to judge my progress based on how I feel, how my clothes fit and my measurements.

There is so much to look forward to and every day is a blessing.

My Goals:
- Perform some type of physical activity every single day

- Eat mostly whole, clean foods

- Feel comfortable and healthy every day of my life

- Bring my positive frame of mind with me on this journey to health

My Program:
- Track daily food intake on Spark's nutrition page

- Track daily activity on Spark's fitness page

- Eat a healthy breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks throughout the day

- Drink my water

- Be balanced and eat treats in moderation

Personal Information:
I've lived in the Washington, DC metro area for twenty years and recently moved closer to the city.

I am a vegetarian and eat dairy and eggs but no meat, poultry or seafood.



Other Information:
I try to live by the Secret, the law of attraction and the power of positive thinking. It has changed my life.

Congrats on passing 750 fitness minutes! You're doing amazingly, girl!

Looks like we're both on day 23! Hahaha. I like that we're in sync with our days! Let's keep count together!
