I'm tired. This is why I'm here. I'm tired of being the fat girl. Tired of depending on food for my emotions. Tired of being jealous of other people, not meeting my goals, not having ambitions. I'm 25 years old and I have been fat my whole life. Always overweight, not watching what I am eating, even when I was in sports in school. I remember coming home from softball practice and wolfing down an entire garlic pizza and not think twice about it.

Then college hit and liquor and ...

Then college hit and liquor and beer replaced sports. Then came pregnancy, and I was pretty much a stationary lump on the couch for 9 months. Now my daughter is 3 years old, and I weigh just as much as I did when I was 9 months pregnant with her. This has got to stop. What kind of example am I setting for my child?

Whenever I tried to lose weight before, I would only be able to lose about 12 lbs, I'd hit a plateau and then gain the weight back, and then some. Completely unacceptable. And I won't even get into the weight related health problems that run in my family.

So here I am, and I set my goal. Lose 64 lbs.Will it happen? I don't know. Do I think I can do it? Read the quote above. Will I try my hardest to get there, learn lifestyle changes, try new things, meet new people, be inspiring to someone? I sure as hell hope so.

Personal Information:
Just crossed the halfway point to 30. I would like to live more actively and set a good example for my family. I live in VA with my husband and daughter. Love my job and want to stop being a bum!
