I'm a vegetarian who can't cook well. I'm trying to learn how to cook, eat a healthy diet, eat less chocolate and lose weight. I'm here to find cooking ideas. I have been following Eat to Live book by Joel Furhman.

I'm finding out that when I eat mostly fruits and veggies I lose weight (I've lost over 15 pounds) and when I start eating the junk the weight comes back (hey doesn't that makes sense). And here is the best part, I'm never hungry.

I exercise 40 minutes ...

I exercise 40 minutes on my elliptical, and I have been doing P90X three times a week (finished P90X and will start again sometime). I also do some exercise DVDs, lift weights and other exercise. I always need ideas for other exercise ideas.

My Goals:
Losing weight by eating healthy foods. Learning to cook will help.

I have been following the Eat To Live plan.

Eating lots of fruits and veggies and some beans, whole grains, nuts and seeds.

My Program:
Exercise 20 minutes a day on the elliptical and 20-30 minutes with DVD cadio exercises. I also lift weights with exercise DVD's and other exercise.

Personal Information:
I have been teaching kids to play the piano for 20 years. I like playing piano and guitar. I like to listen to rock, movie music, classical and jazz.
Scifi and action adventure movies are my favorite movies to go see.
Reading books is very fun and exiciting. It's takes me away from it all. I like scifi, action adventure and fantasy books the best.

Other Information:
I have been a vegetarian for 20 years. I live in Kansas.

lol us too...hot then cold...and so on.

Lol did you finish up your workout after your nap? I will be doing another short workout htis evening was going to do sts disc 6 but I am feeling way to burnt out so I will just do Piyo lower body tonight. lol good job on cleaning...I just finished cleaning. lol the other day I was washing dishes while my grandson was over and he wanted me to do something and I said wait until the dishes are done then I can help you. and he said...nana its not Friday house cleaning why are you cleaining emoticon lol can you imagine how many dishes would pile up if I only did dishes once every other week?? Lol good gravy....hows your energy today?

Oh man burpees...hate them!! But do them ...and they hurt. Lol yeah bananas are nasty as well....and I swear those are on most beachbody workouts...at least the ones done by Tony Horton and even JNL fusion has them as well.

So how much rain did you get? Its still really cold here...my cat Tyia loves to go outside but on days like today when I open the door to let her out she just sniffs the air and backs up and runs the other way emoticon

I have clean hose today so i will be getting in a workout tonight...man am I tired and I just don't want to...but I will!

Ouch sorry you got a headache hope it goes away fast! Tried to go to that sit your gave me but it could not be found on my end sorry. But hey good job with all the squats, dead lift. rows, push ups and the side plank! Planks are tuff!! Love dead lifts they sure get the butt but good!! lol...yeah us to weird weather...yesterday it was warm and today its sooooo cold out.

I did get in another great workout today...I as well got in dead leg lifts, squats, lunges and a lot of other leg ouchy exercises so glad I did it and so glad its over!! emoticon
