33 by 33: Learning to LOVE Me Again

2010 was a year filled with family and life challenges that took me away from focusing on loving me and caring for me.... Needless to say, I got away from the healthy lifestyle and the journey to be a BETTER more fit me.

I wasn't concerned about what I put in my mouth, if I exercised or even if I kept in contact with friends who have motivated me on the journey before. Heck, for the better part of 2010, I didn't even have weight loss or healthy ...

2010 was a year filled with family and life challenges that took me away from focusing on loving me and caring for me.... Needless to say, I got away from the healthy lifestyle and the journey to be a BETTER more fit me.

I wasn't concerned about what I put in my mouth, if I exercised or even if I kept in contact with friends who have motivated me on the journey before. Heck, for the better part of 2010, I didn't even have weight loss or healthy lifestyle goals.

I was just EXISTING.....................and not doing that very well.

WELL, IT'S A NEW YEAR, AND IT'S TIME FOR A NEW ME!

2011 IS MY YEAR TO LEARN TO LOVE ME (ALL OF ME) AND TAKE CARE OF ME AGAIN!

LOVING AND TAKING CARE OF ME is a process that will continuously evolve, but for now, it means......
-Going back to basics and setting and reaching mini-goals.
My first mini-goal is to lose 33 lbs by my 33rd birthday (4/25/11) and fitting a size 18 slacks by my 33rd b-day.
-Walking at least 1 mile per day (which will be a great accomplishment for me since I am not one who loves exercise).
-Being active on the SP web site daily (includes tracking food and exercise).
-Preparing my meals ahead of time and making the time to eat them on schedule.
-Journaling daily about the journey (the good, the bad, and the ugly).
-Taking monthly pictures to chart my progress.
-Looking the part of a proud and confident Diva daily!

I am ready to shed the pounds, and create a new lifestyle for myself and it starts TODAY by Loving and Caring for me!
