My Goals:
When I first met my husband I was a size 6 at 128lbs. After three children my weight yo-yo between 130-160 lbs. My goal is to get to 128lbs and maintain it.

My Program:
I do cardio 6 days a week for 30 minutes and strength training for 25 minutes 5 days a week. I avoid alcohol ( I am a social drinker) and never red/pork meat (Personally dislike the taste)
I only eat whole wheat grains. Lots of green vegetables, lean fish, and some poultry. I eat limited fruits and at least eight glass water per day.

Personal Information:
I am a college administrator who recently completed a Ph.D. I hope to use my counseling background and knowledge of human development to help others to achieve their personal and career goals. My next life goal is to become a published author and lecturer.

The Sparkpeople program is by far the best goal achieving resource.

Other Information:
I am an avid reader of inspirational and metaphysical books. Some of my favorite authors are me (one day), Florence Scovel Shinn, Napoleon Hill, Clement Stone, Dr. Joseph Murphy, Dr. Wayne Dyer, Marriane Williamson, Debbie Ford, and most of all James Allen. Here is a quote to live by:

Hi there! How are you?
I've been sooooo bad over the past 8 weeks. Gained all of the weight back so I'm back to square one :(. It's the time of year that I have to get back into shape again. Hope you are doing well and staying on track this week. I see that you lost 2 pounds! Great Job!!! Are you still working out quite a bit?

The thread for "what is a favorite nutritional food" has been a great source of inspiration for me - and I had an experience at the grocery store that involved your suggestion about a tortilla and salad mix that I'd like to share with you.

In a moment (or several moments) of stupidity, I went to the grocery when I was already hungry. It was a chore for me to pass up all of the visual and "smelly" temptations that faced me on every aisle. As luck would have it, I did get some bagged salad, tortillas, cream cheese - as well as other groceries. When I got to the car, I was so hungry I could have eaten my arm off! It was then that I remembered your post about tortillas and salad greens - so I literally ripped open the tortilla package - took one out, spread it with cream cheese (using the only tool available - my finger) and loaded it with salad greens. Sat in the parking lot and enjoyed a mighty tasty "treat" - much healthier, I'm sure than the candy bars and sodas I had been tempted by in the store. Thanks for sharing you ideas - I'll be checking back for even more great tips and hints!!!

Thanks for your comment on my blog, I guess I am trying to come to terms with the fact that My body looks older than I feel, and what struck me was not so much the turning 40 , but the comparison to photos of me a year ago looking OH so much younger...so is it aging? Is it stress? Or am I "growing up"?

I am loving my life right now so no complaints there, I am doing what I love with the people I love so I am blessed.

SO what If I need to dye my hair a bit more requently now! lol
