Another Life Journey

Late 40s RN looking to lose more than 50 lbs, keep it off, and to remain eating and living healthy. Enjoy gardening/flowers, camping, and my grandbabies. Lost my Dad in 2004, my Mom in 2005, and my 6 year old daughter in 2011. Already having had a few extra lbs on before, I now have gained each year since. My issue is using food for comfort and eating "just to eat." Living a sedentary lifestyle doesn't help either. I'm ready to change all of that!

Hi there!! I think you sound wonderful. You give to others each and every day in your work. You have been through some real bumps ... and still you are here!!! You really are a good soul and now you are giving to yourself. This I am learning also how to do to. If you need a friend ... feel like chatting please drop me a line. So sorry to hear about your losses. I have a 7 yr old daughter that has surpassed your life expectancy and I am thankful for each day extra we have with her.

Welcome! If you need a shoulder, a friend or a virtual coffee at some point, drop by and say hello! I've just celebrated my SP seven month anniversary and am amazed at the absolutely incredible amount of support I've received. This is a fabulous site and you will be astounded at what you get out of it if you give it your all.

To celebrate your arrival at SP this Spring season, I would like to wish you a brand new start, never-ending moments of poise and balance and a joyful tip over on the scale to the side of light. I wish you a new dawn, an eternal youth and a morning star to wish on. Whatever battles you are fighting, whatever stresses may come your way, may they melt away with the winter and may you be granted a time of new light and a new life where your wildest dreams come true. ~ Michelle
