Jan 2nd 2012 I found myself at 270lbs again, and again I set a new years resolution to drop the pounds. Usually I would sit around and have a pitty party by myself, but one thing that I have learned from SP is that it is okay to have set backs, but don't give up. So it is March 5th and I am still going strong I am down 17lbs. I must admit I am not the poster child on how to eat, but i have made some changes that I feel have helped me with my weight loss, such as:
-WATER WATER WATER
-NO SODA (I don't even miss it!)
-NO FAST FOOD (I.E. Mc Donalds, Burger King, Wendy's, Taco Bell. I occasionally go out to a local restaurant.)
-NO CEREAL LOADED WITH SUGAR (Frosted Flakes, which was my weakness)
-NO WHITE BREAD
Even though I have gained some healthy eating habits I have to be honest I still struggle everyday. There are some times when I know I shouldn't have a big bowl of pasta, but sometimes those old habits get the best of me. But I am so proud of the small accomplishments I have made.

-Les Mills Pump (Favorite is Step Aerobics DVD), eliptical, or treadmil
On 2/2/2012 I started a weight lost challege at work. Over a 10 week period who ever drops the most weight (based on percentages) wins $500. I am all for winning money and dropping the pounds. Whatever works. Wish me luck.

I TOTALLY understand your OMG moment...we have all had them and will continue to have them...just remember we are aiming for progress not perfection.. and you are doing one of the things that is most difficult...holding yourself accountable.. you are moving in the right direction!! We are here for you, for each other..you need to vent..do it..celebrate, DO IT...whatever gets you through the day... we understand...we've been there.. you have the strength to overcome this!! and on the days you don't relax...we got you!

Need I say anymore??? Don't worry/stress b/c frustration is part of this process, it's normal to have good/ok/and bad days. Yesterday I ate over my suggested calorie range...I was disappointed until my "AHA" moment came. This is a lifestyle, a way of life, not a diet. I have not seriously deprived myself of any foods, I just try and eat w/in range. Yesterday I ate a 100 calorie ice cream sandwhich, two pieces of candy, chicken wingettes w/salad for lunch, sweet potato mash with dinner (so tasty). And my greed (2 ice cream sandwhiches, bread w/dinner) and some other stuff is what took me over my calories. Otherwise I would have been ok. I'm almost positive this won't be the last time I eat more calories than I'm supposed to. Get creative with your cooking then you will never feel deprived. My sister and a I use skinnytaste.com for low cal, tasty recipes. There are weight watcher points and calories that come with the recipes.
Last week I was gloating to my husband about losing 1lb and he arted laughing and I had to explain to his 170lb self that 1lb is a reat defeat for me, one that I will take every week if that's what it takes to get me where I need to be. The lbs add up. If you lose 1lb a week think about how you will look and feel this same time next year *take a moment to think*
