Hi! I'm Karen Leggett. I need to exercise! I have been hard on my body in ways many of you can relate to. I work long hours and tend to put my own needs on the bottom of the list. I am a physician, and find that an excuse to be "too busy" to put my needs at the top of the list! It's not an excuse!

I'm one of the lucky ones though - because i actually don't have a cravings for unhealthy foods at all. I like to eat well, and I am very well disciplined. I haven't had to battle with weight issues or food cravings, so I am very fortunate in that respect!

I used to also be a great exerciser! But once i started medical school more than 20 years ago, I allowed being "too busy" to overcome my knowledge of how important it is! Now I am 55 and I see the changes in my strength! Though I am not heavy, I am also NOT strong. Beautiful is STRONG. And I intend to get there.

This year, I have co-started a group of women (we all co-started it together) who support one another - but mostly this group is to support our mental strength of living a life of authenticity and being "in sync" with ourselves! A life of being happy and proud of exactly who we are - no excuses - just total love and acceptance of who we are - just as we are.

What an amazing group of women we are!
